Just grabbed the Windows version last night and have done a few routes in the christmas event.
The story for the prologue was very solid. I found it interesting and came to really like all the characters for their characters and not just the horny.
Since the Christmas event was written and produced after so much of Chapter 1 was through production, it was really, REALLY impressive to see the quality of expressions, posing, writing and character design improve so much.
This is the first ever visual novel I have ever played and I’m happy that it is because I have played alot of othe VN’s after and this is my forever favorite one and seeing that the game has been updated made me replay all of it and brought back so many great and funny memories. I hope this game never stops growing and I will suport this project even if I am unable to be a patreon, sadly.. Komisari you’re the best !
Ok so downloaded the game (on mac) and get error message that I've seen some others get but I haven't see an answer yet of how to fix it (or I'm just dumb and have missed it)
Says "An exception has occurred" and "While running game code" followed by a bunch of file names and the it says "Full traceback" followed by a bunch of file names
no? If you don't already have the option to update on the bottom right corner ( I assume you're using the Itch.io app and not webpage) you go to the cog next to launch button to manage the game and if it says v0.1.2.2 as your main file to manage you'll want to either A. Uninstall it than install the new update or B. install v0.1.2.3 ( the new update) which should overwrite the old update and keep your save files without having to transfer them
No, you should copy the “Log” file and paste it in the new updated games folder. The “Log” file has all your saves stored in from all previous versions also.
Saves are stored in "/game/saves" folder (in Renpy games). One can manually copy that folder into newly instaled update, to be sure. Or just install new update, start game, and it should be auto-copied, and after that remove old version. Also (not rly sure) they say, even when game was deleted, saves will reappear in a new instalation, but this is kinda bad news, as there is some data storage beyond our basic control. Probly hidden in some backup system folder.
hello there the only first issue i've run into is everytime i try to collect money from guild chest i get a traceback error, all i can seem to be able to do is rollback..idk how to fix this im gonna keep trying diff things and update if i find a fix. but so far this is an awesome game! wow lmao i didn't think i'd find a fix that quick so turns out there was a collect money on the side of the coins, gold copper etc that works fine but the error only seems to happen when attempting to click on the cooper, silver or gold icons for some reason welp im happy its working though
Yup, I also experienced this. I think the dev is already aware of this issue and is working on it. My advice is to get the auto guild money reciever bonus that you can get by using levels and every morning you will recieve money for the previous days work.

well I couldn't find a decent way to make money because the town requests ask you to find things you haven't discovered the fishing mini-game is absurdly difficult for no reason or maybe I in particular suck and I don't know how to unlock the guild board locations however once I accepted the fact that I am now an apple farmer and used an old ladies sell box to inflate the economy via fruit it's probably the best game on here like I mentioned improvements could be made like telling us in the tutorial how to fish instead of just saying "this is the pond you don't have to reel fast have fun" (but again I really could be that dog shit) and maybe a feature where we don't get requests for undiscovered items but even with that complaint the game is easily 9.5/10 and better than most non-nsfw games on itch
This game is actually great, I enjoyed playing and grinding for everything. So far the sneak peeks for the content to come looks like it is going to be incredible. Keep up the good work! Also, Jimmy is best bro.

As far as I can tell, the girls are supposed to deposit the money into the guild chest, but there's no indication of money in it or any way to extract it. There's a skill/perk/whatever you can unlock that results in the girls giving you whatever they made through the day the next morning; I think it's supposed to just save you a trip to the chest but currently it's the only way to actually get the money they earn.
Hey so is there any audio in the game other than the music and some sound effects. The preferences mention lewd sounds and voices adjustment but they both seem just mute with no way of changing it.

Just finished the current content and I must say, this game has improved VASTLEY since 2021. The facial updates make characters look alot better and have a much better charm, also the writing has improved and still has that charm and joking quality that it's always brought. Keep up the good work man! glad to always be supporting this project

its just another "waifu" stuck behind the 4th wall. It seems somewhat related to Evie or she the only girl in the guild that can "sense" her presence. I want to see more of it in next chapter.
A "glitch" also happens at the bike park with Evie at some point, I think it also happened at the park in Market during the night, I'm also curious how it all ties in.
I deleted my saves because they were labeled as 'Old Version' over their images. I deleted them all and was planning on starting over. However as soon as I got out of the saves window the game crashed. The problem is, HHG refuses to start now, so I am attempting to re-install.
Which just failed. It's stuck as 'Queued' and won't go further.
Is there any way to fix this, or am I going to have to not play it any more because it won't install?
Why would you reinstall a renpy game because of save games? Do you suspect a corrupted installation?
Just backup and then delete your save games. And there are two locations for save games of renpy. In appdata/roaming/renpy/game and in the actual game folder in game/saves. You need to get rid of both, as the save games act as backups of each other.
So I am trying to make sure I have everything in the current version and I noticed Lucy and Evie have the avatar cards that have "???". Are those available and are there any hints how to unlock them if they are?
I love the game so far. I do, however, have problems with the fishing aspect. Maybe I don't understand how it works, but it seems a little cumbersome to use your mouse to reel in a fish. Could someone explain how to do it properly? Thank you.
The lv 9 to 10 event for shino doesn't specify that it needs to happen in the morning. The lv 2 to 3 even for leticia says evening but actually triggers in the afternoon. Also Spending time with evie at the bicycle stop has an odd bug or artifact or something at the very end of the scene when your leaving.
nope, i replayed it a few times and tried to do a screen recording of the bug but i just got the whole recording in green and red and all fucked up when it hits that point
Just a tip for those transferring from the old Joiplay to the new Apk version on Android, at least for me. SD Maid would not work I needed to use File Manager from File Manager Plus and the new APK folder did not appear until I opened the game for the first time and created a save.
I then simply copied the entire Joiplay save folder and replaced the new APK save folder and it worked flawlessly with 0 issues or bugs!
Hey, Komisari. Recently just started playing HHG and I'm stumped on where to find paper and logs for the quintuplits so I can access the library to level up Evie and Shino. Would you please tell me where I can at least find both of those materials?
not the dev obviously, but paper is bought from the clothing shop and logs can be aquired from the foraging lady either with money or using twigs to make them.

i agree fishing needs to be rebalanced to let you get more money early on in the game
or add more places for foraging if you still cant afford fishing upgrade.

Set your system time to November 1st and wait till night. Then go to the market but make sure your almost done with the prolong to to everything.

Forgive my ignorance, if the game says that it has more than 115 sexual animations, why in the gallery only about 18 appear hidden, game on 1.2.2
Those are scenes, scenes usually contain multiple animations, theres also animations outside of scenes you catch in the story if Im not mistaken.

Please press SHIFT+G and activate Angle renderer. Then restart the game - all scenes should work now. On my PC it was the same.
