Yo komi, genuine question does it matter (lore wise) on who becomes the snowy queen? Cuz my snowy queen was Lucy cuz well she's the best next to Luna but does it affect the story on whom I choose as the snowy queen or nah? Like do they give the same rewards or just the same?
calm down, komisari has a real life and a family too, he can't work on the game 24/7. game development takes a lot of time and mixed with work/school and family/friends can be tiring. some people get depression and burnouts because of that
yes but a renpy game using koikatsu models for the characters isn't really that hard lol. The hardest part is writing the story. It takes like a couple of days to get used to renpy engine even if you have no experience writing scripts for it
but you want a good game with a lot of content a good story and top tier animations yes? that takes time, a lot of time. especially when you have to mix game development with your normal life

Facial expressions, emotions and all that are hard to nail too, so don't act like the all mighty game dev when you actually know nothing more about developing nor programming then what software is used

Poses and facial expressions aside as i do believe they were manually made using Chara Studio via HF patch, all the animations i've seen from this game already come preinstalled with koikatsu. You can literally boot it up right now and see for yourself. And yes, i have used renpy to make a game. I'm currently experimenting with a VN project i have that's all AI ran and uses a dynamic system to progress to other scenes.
Now, i have to clarify one thing. I didn't come here to completely shit on the dev's ability to create a game. I do believe he has a knack for making a proper VN with RenPy. All i'm saying is that 4 years for update is a tad bit too long of a wait considering he's still making bank in his patreon. All i've seen so far from his discord is that he frequently uploads update previews for the next major update. I think that deserves even just a slightest bit of criticism.

I wanted to put my experience here for the new guys, and so the Devs know how I feel if they see this.
The game is my thing or my jam so I am probably bias. It is fun and has so much story to uncover with the characters. I love the music and art style of the game, the designs, all of it. The game has a simple way of getting around so it is easy to travel. The mini games are straight forward and fun for me.
The only problem I encountered was on Android the game would freeze up or crash then close automatically. Can't figure what causes that. But the Autosaves and me planning ahead makes it easy to not worry about the lose of progress so it's no big deal.
So this game is amazing, thanks for this Komisari. Please do your best in completing it and making the best it can be. Also take care of yourself(selves), and don't push to hard.
I mean its hard to know since you dont update the trello anymore. But good to know you are still working on the game, is one of the best I've played so far, im looking forward for the update

Since your last report here is over one year old (May 07, 2023), maybe you could post some news here or at least copy the most important status from Discord to this platform.
I'm seeing a lot of people wondering if this game is abandoned, and it isn't. I'm following the live roadmap fairly regularly and stuff is actually being done. The next update is gonna be massive by the looks of it. So to everyone wondering, this game is in fact not dead. And to the dev, take your time and keep up the good work!
Thats the thing though. Komisari has very specific points to stop and start at. The content is also gonna be worth the patience as said by Komi, its going to double the content of the game. Nobody knows when its dropping, only how much of it is finished, and it's gonna be a monstrous drop
According to roadmap on trello, last update is may 22 this year. Judging from how much the progress is, its probably gonna take a long time because the scope is huge. You can see yourself the snapshot of the rendered scenes in progress.

Make sure Lucy is ready to level up to 5! The description of this quest will be changed in chapter 1.
