game is free, but so good am going to sign up for his/her patron. . The game had me addicted, played for 8 hours straight (yes, there's about 8 hours of good content) it was like my own personal anime harem, and I really got invested in the characters (my favorite is Shino, and Rebecca) some memorable moments that made me laugh, Rebecca saying the MC she wants to be his first (by this point in the story, he's already banged the entire house)

I don't believe it. Having not put a penny toward the game thus far, if only because I don't have one to spare, I can't complain too much about the long cycle. It's still coming out faster than Star Citizen's story campaign, so I'm going to show some confidence in the creator.

When I first played the current version of the game 2-3 years ago, I was halfway through college, never held a job, and vacuuming my floor with a lint roller before dates. Now, I've graduated, those hot dates led to my wife, we both have excellent jobs as young professionals, and we have a baby on the way. TIme is always moving forward, and life goes on, but not everything is. This game has remained as it once was, a rock, my castle. This game is never changing, and it has helped me through tough times and provided stability in my life where nothing else could.
Please don't update the game, we don't need the next chapter and if this game changes, I don't believe my heart could take it. Komisari has my respect, as the tortoise like game developer he is. I hope he is okay, and has not been involved in being drafted by the russian army and forced to fight in ukraine. Even so, do not update this game. It is great in it's unfinished state, and has become a relic that cannot be improved upon. Time changes all, and the rust that has covered Heroes Haram Guild is now one with it. Cleaning it off and "improving it" would only bring despair to myself and all the other fans. Thank you Komisari.

I haven't slept for two nights, because I was fishing to gen perk that allows you to pet Jimmy. But if seriously, I really enjoyed the story, and I'm waiting the new update now. I would donate you, when the world situation would be ok, but for now, due to the ban of Russian cards, I can just only say warm words. Huge thanks to you.

At first when I saw that i'ts a renpy game ,I immediately thought that it aould be one of those boring visual novels games ,but then when I saw how interactive the game was i just fell in love with it .
Usually I don't like visual novels and just skip to the lewd part , but this game made start read the story somewhere like when you first meet Evie
Similar for me, I ended up playing it because of it's sheer quality, which was honestly not something I expected. I was really surprised at how immersive and interactive the gameplay honestly was, how good the characters were and how the whole thing just worked so well together to create a really fun experience. It's not a masterpiece, but I honestly feel like it's way more fun than it should be for what it is, and it is definitely my favorite thing I have played this year.
No, I believe that this in absolute master pice,which doesn't revolve on only clicking choices,which in most of the cases it surpasses 99% of dating sim/ visual novels game , especially in terms of plot,while the animation can be sometime buggy ,the rest of the game is pretty dang impressive, and with update coming next year normally which will add chapter 1 this will only get better
Don't worry Komisari updated in patreon and said he learned a lot of things after the past 3 years, and when the update comes next year the animation is a lot better and remastered all we need is patience for the update.

Yes, exactly. It is so rare nowadays for developer to do their best to create a unique and interesting game. Komisari already did a great work by implementing so many different mechanics into (for one second!) RenPy game. I am sure someone like Komisari will no lie to his followers just for money. Money is a bit too hard to obtain, but other than that, it's very good. I really didn't expect such great gameplay when I downloaded it and now I can't wait for more!
I have some questions however. Most notably, about how much more content will chapter 1 include? How will it compare to the prologue in regards of playtime when it'll be released?
Also, one girl seems to be missing from the deck, and I can't find her anywhere. I have no clue who might it be based on her silouette.
I'm also sort of curious about the ghost girl. I have seen her floating above the lake, but i have found no further clues. Am I supposed to be looking harder, or is it just not finished yet?
Finally, I found it weird that abigail and the other girl just disappeared from the game completely after I took the wine from the bar. I haven seen them anywhere since. They are not in the bar or anywhere else. Is that supposed to happen, or is it just bugged?
I'm sad to learn that development took longer than expected, which seems to have made quite a few people visibly angry, it must be frustrating. Personally I'm quite glad that I have found this game just now, right before a major update (even if it will take a few more months).

Also, I found it inconsistent that Lucy could build a canoe from some logs, but fixing the door required the quintuplets. In general, the quintuplets need some more love in my opinion, as interactions with them are way too few and far in between. Giving them the canoe building could have been fun I guess.
Just a minor complaint tho.
I'm planning on reworking the quintuplets and giving them way more protagonism. So you can go with them in multiple phases of the game.

I would like to know what did you do to feel like money is hard to obtain. Fishing? Foraging? Did you use the Guild Board to send girls to work or you went mining? What made you feel like the game is grindy?
A lot of people feels like HHG is grindy, but, for example, you can easily get almost a silver or two the first day just by foraging.
Also, you felt the game was grindy because the money you get is low, or because the prices of stuff is too big? For example, the broken door, you don't have to fix the door, is completely optional. It is supposed for you to not fix it until half the game or so, same goes with meme of the Holy Headpat perk. Any information could be valuable!
Chapter 1 will include the content of 2 or 3 prologues.
You could be talking about two girls, the 12th girl is Narissa, the Demon Girl you meet at the final of the prologue.
The last girl is Delilah, you have to complete the "Misdirection" quest.
You can do something, check her when she's there.
Yeah, Abigail and Brianne are not around. They are added in Chapter 1.

I think you should make the Guild Board errands either take less time or reward more money. I ended up being semi-afk waiting for the girls which made the the game feel grindy.
I personally like the idea of the Guild Board being the main source of income with fishing/foraging/mining being secondary (and for crafting/quests). The Guild is an important part of the games' setting so the managing aspect needs more love.

The thing is, as the story explains; Sealed Town, or the town the Guild is... Is extremely poor, not only that, but the other towns hate them.
The Guild is not like an Adventurer's Guild from any serie/game, its your a group o people to help or protect the town based on the Hero's decisions and not on contracts or something.
You are a guy who is helping the town via other ways, and when you send the girls to work, you're just sending them to do the same as you; Gather materials for the town.
That's why the Hero gathering materials himself is the main way of progessing. The game will definitely have more stuff for managment, but it will never be around "Stay afk and gain profit". Its more like extra money if you do it right.
In Chapter 1 the guild board is changed, they go twice the speed, but they have a stamina bar, and theh get slower as that stamina bar lowers.
That makes sense, the Hero is almost starting from scratch. The Stamina bar sounds like a good way to balance the time commitment needed for the Guild Board.

To be fair, my main issue with money was that I always seemed to unlock ways to spend it way faster than I could earn it. With the door, I kind of figured that final upgrade wasn't that important so I ignored it until the end, but it still made me feel like I was doing something wrong, and couldn't figure out what exactly it was.
Foraging is pretty reliable, as you mentioned, I did the foraging most of the time, except for the blue flowers. I didn't really notice them until fairly late into the game.
Fishing is not very good. It takes quite a bit of time and, it doesn't give a whole lot in return. I didn't do a lot of fishing until endgame, where I decided to give it a serious try, with maxed gear and skills, it still was very underwhelming.
The questboard gives some nice passive income, but with only 2 girls beingable to do actually useful work so far, it is fairly limited. I imagine with more options getting unlocked, the usefulness of the board will also increase. I usually had Lucy and Evie working in town, and sometimes Luna for pickaxes and such.
Mining is pretty much the best way to earn money right now. Little effort, very high gains, compared to everything else. The problem is, I waited way too long to build the canoe, because it felt like a major investment, and I was not sure if it was even worth it. In hindsight, I could have saved quite some time by unlocking mining earlier. With mining, I could start unlocking all of the remaining things (except custom cards, they are quite expensive for having no real use).
Overall, the money problem was not serious, and it didn't stop me from enjoying the game at all, it was just a bit confusing.
I'm glad chapter 1 will have so much new content! I honestly expected quite a bit less.
I have Delilah, but not Narissa. I did "finish prologue" at the bed, viewed that long cutscene a few times, in case it was bugged or I missed something, I even visited Leticia quite a few times to find info (since she was my main suspect), but I couldn't get her to show up in my deck.

Also, I would be grateful to be able to sell/trash some of the random unwanted items from the inventory, at some point just having all sorts of fishing acessories in my inventory, several stone pickaxes, an absurd amount of halloween candies, as well as a single piece of paper I had once accidentally bought scattered all around my inventory just became very hurtful to my OCD.

When you see the last large event, a screen appears that says "Prologue Finished" and it has two options, continue (you can't) or go back.
You finished everything, for now!
Also, in Chapter 1 there is a Guild Chest. You can store basically everything there.
But also, most items are sellable in Chapter 1.
