Been following updates on it for a while, but I have to know, do we even get the ghost girl in the current patch or after you encounter her cutscene on the lake, that's it for her? Since after that scene, I started to roam around the map on midnight just to encounter her glitches again, but she never appeared. :(

There's more scenes of her after the evie encounter, in which you have to find her glitch spots in the market, bicycle parking, and lake at midnight (haven't found other places where she could appear). But if you keep visiting the lake shrine to get the glitch and going back to the main area of the lake, she'll appear and grab you and tell you to leave. After that, I haven't seen her again :(

If it's not too much to ask I've always wanted to know what software you use for animations and character creations? I've been working on a game of my own but I haven't found a program that I like for animating.
I'm 99.9% sure it's a modded koikatsu for the prologue. However, I would not recommend buying the game on steam as it's censored and limited. I found the modded version and started to work on my game. I'm not sure if Komi is still using it for chapter 1 though.

Lore and world-wise, it is actually scary to roam at midnight. So yeah, if possible, go back home before that time!

love the game but the fishing part is a bit tedious and takes my patience too short it's for the quest it annoyed me too much the timer is not the problem but the fish itself is the problem for me on Android
i did but still makes me get mad that the large mouth bass fish i found is harder to catch took me 10 days of trying and trying until i couldn't progress on the story i don't want to drop the game it's too interesting

Like almost all Renpy games Windows 7 64-Bit or any higher Windows with 64-Bit.
As for HHG: Windows 7 64-Bit or higher. (other Renpy games here on itch.io might be 32-bit, but those compatible with Windows XP are extemely rare today.) It should work even with a very slow CPU/GPU/RAM.
But you absolutely have to pay attention to the known bug when it comes to rendering: When you play for the first time on PC, press SHIFT+G and change renderer to "ANGLE". Otherwise if would crash at a certain point (... Evie in the park)! Lots of HHG gamers and almost all PCs suffer from that issue. Restart the game once and the renderer is set correctly now to prevent that bug.
Without using the ANGLE backend, I was getting a crash to desktop when leaving the area outside the bar at midnight in the The Butterfly (nurse) quest, and now I just get a glitchy effect and can go back to the market. I couldn’t find anyone else reporting the same problem, so I’m replying here so that there’s some record of it. I don’t know if the glitchy effect is intentional, though, as it could just be the same bug but with smaller consequences.
Oh, I can assure you - the glitch effect is definitely intentional :) The crash (when not having ANGLE as renderer enabled) is a completely different thing and nothing but a real bug. The dev knows it for years but since there was not any functional major update since then, its still there.

If possible, please join HHG's discord server and create a ticket there so I can help you!
(Make sure you are using HHG's original renpy version and you're not using external apps like joyplay or the itch.io launcher!)
